    Universal Map accepts Visa, Master Card, and American Express. 
  • Checks & Money Orders
    Personal checks, company checks and money orders payable to Universal Map are also accepted—orders will ship only after payment clears. Please include a copy of your order receipt for check or money order payment.

My order is missing an item. What do I do?

What is your return policy?

Damaged Items
If your package arrives damaged, you may refuse the map directly when it arrives at your door, and then contact us. Or, please email orders@umapinc.com or call 877-708-6277 for a full refund or reshipment of the order upon receipt of their claim to authorize the return. Please keep all of the packing materials in case we need them to show our shipping company.

Returning Maps
Universalmap.com will accept returns if the product is in its original and re-saleable condition within thirty (30) days of the original sale. Prior to returning any products, please email at orders@umapinc.com or call 877-708-6277 to get a Return Number.

In order to request a Return Number, please have the following information available:

  • Order Number
  • Customer Name
  • Reason for product return
  • Item #, located on the packing slip or order receipt

Products returned without a Return Number will be refused.
Upon authorization of return please mail the product to:

Once we have received your returned item, we will credit the original credit card account.
We will happily refund your shipping costs if there has been a Universal Map error.

NOTE: Because they are customized to your specifications, and are not resalable, customized wall maps are not returnable.  If there is some manufacturer's defect or damage in shipping, Universal Map will gladly replace your customized map order.

Shipping Help

When will my order ship?
Most orders are processed within one business day of receipt. Shipping time is in addition to order processing time.

Overnight and rush orders placed before 11 a.m. Eastern Time will be processed the same day. Overnight and rush orders placed after 11 a.m. Eastern Time, or on weekends and holidays, are processed on the following business day.

What are my shipping options?
Universal Map ships to locations within the U.S. and Canada via UPS. Shipping costs vary depending on the items you order. At this time, Saturday delivery is not available.

Please note: The following shipping times are dependent on product availability. The shipping times above are estimates; please be aware they are NOT guaranteed as we do not control these services. Refunds cannot be given for slow shipping times.

  • United States Delivery Options
    UPS Air (2 business days from date shipped
    UPS Ground (3-10 business days from date shipped) 
  • Canada Delivery Options*
    UPS Ground to Canada (7-10 business days from date shipped)
    *Shipments to Canada will incur additional Canadian taxes, duties, and brokerage fees. Universal Map has no control over these charges and cannot issue any refunds or credits for any Canadian charges related to your order.
  • Other Shipping Restrictions
    Wall maps and Customized Wall Maps will require additional production days. If you choose 2-day or overnight services, this will apply to shipping time after the product is produced.

    PO Boxes are not accepted for shipping addresses. A physical address is required.

Universal Map will provide a tracking number for orders delivered via UPS. This number will appear in your confirmation email once your order is shipped. If you have misplaced your tracking number, please contact customer service at:

Are there any shipping restrictions I should know about?
Please note the following:

  • Universalmap.com orders cannot ship outside the United States and Canada.  For orders outside of the U.S. & Canada, please call customer service at 800-359-6277 to request approval for overseas delivery.
  • Wall maps and Customized Wall Maps will require additional production days. If you choose 2-day or overnight services, this will apply to shipping time after the product is produced.
  • PO Boxes are not accepted for shipping addresses. A physical address is required.
